Marshal Pitchford

Mr. Pitchford has over a decade of experience in the practice of public law, government relations and litigation.  His regional practice primarily focuses on representing public entities and in transportation litigation, including broker/carrier arrangements, cargo claims, freight charges collection and transactions and commercial litigation. He has a wide range of experience working for clients in both the private and public sector. He counsels clients in both contract preparation and strategic planning and also represents numerous large and small manufacturers and businesses.

Thomas M. DiCaudo

Thomas M. DiCaudo graduated from Walsh High School in 1979. He then attended The University of Akron where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree focusing on Accounting. Mr. DiCaudo attended The University of Akron School of Law graduating in the top of his class and was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1988.

After being admitted into the practice of law, Mr. DiCaudo accepted a position with the City of Akron Prosecutor’s Office.  He was an Assistant Prosecutor from November 1988 to January 1990. He was promoted to the position of Police Legal Advisor in January 1990.

J. Reid Yoder

J. Reid Yoder graduated from Firestone High School in 1996. He attended The University of Miami and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science in 2000. Mr. Yoder attended The University Of Akron School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 2003.

He accepted employment with the City of Akron Prosecutor’s Office after graduating, where he honed his skills as a trial attorney for over four years. He has lectured at the Akron Police Academy on numerous topics, including criminal procedure and police testimony.  In 2007, Mr. Yoder left the Prosecutor’s Office and began his career in private practice.

Benjamin Sorber

Benjamin Sorber graduated from Binghamton University in 2011 with B.A. in Political Science and English. In 2014, Mr. Sorber received his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law.  While at Akron Law, Mr. Sorber was a member of the school’s nationally-ranked Trial Advocacy Team, where he was recognized for his advocacy skills.  Prior to joining DiCaudo, Pitchford & Yoder, Mr. Sorber clerked for the Honorable Judge Jerry K. Larson.  Mr. Sorber handles a variety of matters at DPY, including issues related to municipal law, general litigation, and criminal law.

Kathryn A. Vadas

Ms. Vadas has fifteen plus years of experience handling complex causes of action arising out of medical malpractice, intentional torts, wrongful termination, violation of non-compete clauses, employment discrimination, premises liability, shareholder derivative, and other commercial issues.  She has a wide range of experience representing employers in administrative hearings and judicial litigation.  Ms. Vadas also counsels clients on proper retention, handling and termination of employees.
